Born in Palermo, 1993. Composer, pianist, sound engineer and record producer.
Obsessed with memory and narration, Giovanni combines acoustic and electronic instruments to create imaginary soundscapes — dystopic memory boxes where the perception of time dissolves and disappears.
He graduated in Composition, Piano and Conducting from the Vincenzo Bellini Conservatoire in Palermo, later earning the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Composition at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Ivan Fedele.
Since 2021, he has composed several film scores for the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, premiered at IDFA, Biografilm and Festival dei Popoli. In 2024, he composed the soundtrack for Il cassetto segreto by Costanza Quatriglio, which premiered at the 74th Berlinale and was nominated for a David di Donatello Award.
